Name: Larn'atir'ruzzhi (core: Natirru)
Species: Chiss
Age: 37
Sex/Gender: Male
Class/Spec: Imperial Agent - Operative (Medicine)
Force Alignment: Light - currently neutral in-game but trends very light personality-wise. The entire reason he lived in Republic space as long as he did and fit in despite his species making him conspicuous is his personality and the fact that he's "Miraluka-proof".
Primary Light Motivations: Empathy, kinship, love
Primary Dark Motivations: Violent when angered or spurred to protect
History:
House Ruzzhi:This minor house has a tendency to produce diplomatic personalities. Not necessarily
kind ones, though it has its share of those (of which Natirru is an extreme example), but those willing to work readily with outsiders. As other houses have the same talent available in spades, and it loses members to other houses without gaining very many, it's not likely to survive the next couple centuries. Natirru holds onto the name rather than taking the merit-granted Miurani name out of combined force of habit, the need to have a single steady identity that is
his, and for the comfort of the non-Chiss he's lived with for years.
Character:Natirru may as well have not grown up among Chiss for all he differs from the stereotype. Highly empathetic and caring, he pursued studies in medicine as soon as he was able, and when he learned the Imperial military needed medics, he jumped at the chance. Or, perhaps, it would be better to say he dove headfirst into it. He fought his own genetic high metabolism on top of a vigorous workout routine to build himself up for heavy lifting - the better for carrying the wounded to safety or freeing them from precarious situations. And in the course of this, he developed a passion for cooking - at first it was only getting creative with rations, and every spare credit he could spend on other food. He freely shared among the people around him, making him rather popular. A Sith eventually took notice, some stray word-of-mouth reaching just the right place. Highborn and lazy, he saw in Natirru an opportunity to gather important information from across enemy lines with no more effort than managing his expenses: someone so generous and caring, someone whose appearance made him look nonthreatening (fully clothed, his muscle definition is hidden, making him simply look rotund)...this was a person who might loosen tongues by sheer disarming presence, and with hardly a shred of typical dark side behavior would surely fool even the Force-sight of the Miraluka. So he hired him and trained him as his personal spy, and bid him find a way into Republic space, and report whatever he could that could give him some status.
What Natirru found was the Twi'lek smuggler Abric Solari, a kind heart in a line of work where it must be hidden lest it be taken advantage of. Though he used his rather than hid it, he could certainly understand. In turn, he was not the sort of person Abric had expected to deal with in the Empire. That the person he fell in love with just happened to be someone who routinely went where he technically (or sometimes legally) shouldn't was a happy coincidence, as far as his job went. Natirru's assignment became little more than an excuse to live a happy life, with the career in medicine he'd wanted, a husband he loved dearly, and the freedom to be himself. Because he
did send what he learned back to his employer, he was permitted to stay, and the Sith in question was too lazy to try to force him to go after the juicy stuff. His pockets were deep enough.
And then one day, after five years of living in Republic space, he received word that his employer had been killed by another Sith, who had use for him for one more job. Back in the Empire. Under threat of being branded a traitor, he extracted himself from the life he'd enjoyed. He faked his own death because making people forget a
Chiss had lived among them was impossible, and returned with a heavy heart. Ironically enough, his one job was to cover up proof of his new employer's infidelity, because the person she had hired 20 years ago was apparently very stupid and didn't think to look for autosaved backup files.
He took some comfort in what he could, because the product of said infidelity - her supposedly-adopted son - was able to find shelter from her abuse with him. He was, he realized, one of the few people who would think to intervene in the private matters of a powerful Sith, and if she had hired
anyone else...
Still, it was just one job, and now he was turned loose at the end of a burned bridge, with only her recommendation to join Imperial Intelligence. Natirru decided to take the one path offered to him - returning to the military would mean he could only expect violent solutions to his problems. Being a spy, well, that meant he would have more options. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

So I put together an album for reference...And only THEN did the game hand me a white uniform. I hit preview and instantly went "that's him"
